Correspondence Paper Goods Made in England

All books inherently have something to do with the act of remembering. This set of bookmarks plays on that theme.

One is a very practical tool, with its hand-drawn lines for recording WORDS TO LOOK UP AND THINGS TO REMEMBER. The other two are for the reader whose mind wanders; they each have a nostalgic narrative of their own. SMELLY JACKETS features two ink drawings and a sort of list-poem about the way travels and places cling to our clothes. ALL THE RECORDS I EVER LOST, BROKE, GAVE AWAY OR LEFT BEHIND is a watercoloured lament for bygone possessions, and the melodies that are on the verge of slipping from memory.

As usual, we printed these on recycled paper using vegetable-based inks.
