Ornate patterns often appear in the backgrounds of our images. We started thinking that these patterns are quite interesting on their own. And we found them to be rather useful as a set of any-occasion notecards.
The cards are blank inside. The reverse sides reveal the seed of the creative process by depicting the original watercolour drawings. Each is a small swirling design, which was then scanned, twisted and replicated with an inventive sense of geometry until the final pattern was developed.
Each SWIRLIES set includes six designs and six recycled envelopes. The cards are printed on sturdy recycled paper and measure 120mm x 120mm (about 5 square inches) each.
