You know how certain songs aren't Christmas songs, but make you feel kind of Christmasey? Suppose that is what we wanted to achieve here. We came up with the theme of light: A lamplit red postbox recently visited by a mysterious mailer. A lighthouse giving off a psychedelic glow. And glowing Christmas trees mounted atop cranes in a busy city. Adding to the imaginative feeling, a migrating flock of geese cross each of these landscapes. Each of these seasonal scenarios is presented inside a diorama like a paper theatre, with the backs showing the curtains drawn.
Each TURN ON THE LIGHTS set includes six notecards (two each of three designs) and six recycled envelopes (two each of three different colours). The cards are printed on sturdy recycled paper and measure 120mm x 120mm (about 5 square inches) each.
